Joining the Phoenix Concert Band

New members are always welcome. We do not audition players but ask for a minimum standard of Grade 5 and a commitment to attend rehearsals and concerts. If you are interested in joining the Phoenix Concert Band, please contact our band secretary or musical director.

The Phoenix Concert Band rehearses every Friday evening from 7.30pm – 10.00pm (with a tea break)

Hasland Methodist Church Hall, Hampton Street, Hasland, Chesterfield S41 0LH

The band is completely self supporting and its overheads are covered by a quarterly subscription and revenue from concert performances.

The band recognises the importance of social activities and organises regular functions eg Christmas Dinner, bowling etc for its members to participate in.
