News from the Phoenix Concert Band

In 2002 the Phoenix Concert Band undertook a concert tour to the Moselle region of Germany.  The band was based in Trier and performed in Luxembourg, Winningen, Trier and Bernkastel-Kues.

The band is pleased to be returning to Germany in the summer of 2009 and this time will be based in Boppard on the Rhine. During the forthcoming band tour, in July, the band will play in Rudesheim, Koblenz nr the Deutches Eck, Andernach and Darmstadt (twinned with Chesterfield and celebrating 50th anniversary of the twinning). Finally the band will once again return to Winningen and perform as part of their lantern celebration and meet old friends and hopefully make new ones. In between everyone will have the opportunity to explore our base in Boppard on the Rhine. Look out for pictures and report upon our return.
